Colgate University is offering a free SAT preparation course for students in Central New York. All high school juniors are encouraged to apply. All classes and tests are Sundays from 1-5 PM. They will be offering a practice test on January 26. Class sessions start February 2! This will help you prepare for the SAT's on May 3. Please see the attached flyer for more information. If you would like to attend please apply by clicking on the link. If the google form link doesn't work then there is QR code on the flyer that you can scan to apply. Applications are open currently and will close November 29.

10 Students from the 9th Grade Academy attended the College and Career Day at SUNY Morrisville, Norwich Campus. Students were able to embark on an early journey of career exploration, and college opportunities. They also networked with professionals from throughout the county.

Keep watch after sunset on November 10 to see a close encounter between Saturn and the waxing gibbous moon. At 9:58 PM, the pair will be visible above the southwestern horizon, passing within each other in the constellation Aquarius.
Also a meteor shower may be in view between November 4th and 5th. Happy stargazing

Mrs. Markham's, Mr. Astor's, and Mrs. Perry's classes had a fantastic time at the PurposeFall Parade today! We celebrated by dressing up as characters from our favorite books and listening to music!
Our awesome third graders are writing the rhythms to the text from a new song that goes with a book called, “What About Bear?” by local author Suzanne Bloom. This is one of Mrs. Snitchler's favorite types of lessons to teach because the end product comes out different with every single class. Third graders are learning that the syllabication of the text is what drives the written rhythm.
The Pre-Kindergarten classes concluded their unit on Community Helpers by going to our local Fire and Police Stations. All the children had a fun experience.
