
Today is the Capital Project Vote in the District Office next to the Middle School! Polls open at 11 AM and close at 8 PM. In addition, be sure to check out the NMS performance of Matilda Jr. at the High School Auditorium at 7 PM!


Social Studies students at Norwich Middle School used a letter writing campaign to thank the residents of the New York State Veterans Home for their service to our country.





Students from the CARE Program and the high school Environmental Club worked with members of the Healthy Gardens Club to mix soil and fill the raised beds at the middle school. They will work on building raised beds for the high school and we will have another Soil Day this spring.





The CARE Program helped a member from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chenango County prep for a taste test that will be held at the middle school this week. Thank you to the students for volunteering.

Mark your calendar for the NMS performance of the musical Matilda Jr. this Friday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m. Admission is free, a suggested donation of three canned goods is appreciated. This week we enjoyed a special lunch with some PurposeFULL Twisters! These raffle winners were caught showing RESPECT for the month of October!

Miss Wynn's class had a lot of fun reading "Turkey Trouble" by Wendi Silvano today! Afterwards, we helped some turkeys of our own by coming up with disguises they could wear to avoid becoming part of someone's Thanksgiving Dinner!


The CARE Program recently visited the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse. Students in our zoology class partnered with zoo employees to learn about the roles zoos have in preservation and conservation of species. They toured the zoo and explored the variety of biological needs of different animals. This was the launch for the research portion of the project.




Mrs. Gates' class has been hard at work revising and editing their small moment stories during writing!


Mrs. Somers' class had a good time painting pumpkins for Halloween!
