Student Ambassadors started a Penny War for Breast Cancer Awareness at the MS during October. Competition has been high! A prize will be awarded to the grade that has the highest points value when all the money is counted on Friday. Make sure you bring in your money for a good cause!!

Gibson's new School Counselor, Miss Carnachan joined Ms. Fetzko in the Art Studio to teach about the word of the month- RESPECT! Students heard a story about a brave and unique little pumpkin named Spookley, then created a very special pumpkin to add to the class pumpkin patch.

This month in Pre-K, students are learning to sort by color, shape, and size! Our youngest learners are exploring math through play by sorting different manipulatives. We have really enjoyed our first few weeks in school and are learning, growing, and creating every day!

Students in Heather Finch’s 4th grade class show some appreciation to Perry Browne Custodians.
The CARE Program ELA classes are working on their descriptive writing skills. As part of this unit, students hiked to the Chenango River, found a good place to sit on the river’s edge, and described the area in their journals, trying to bring it to life in their writing.
