A beautiful start to a great day of learning at Gibson!
This month in Pre-K, students are working hard on learning the letters and sounds in their names! We have learned how to build, spell, and listen to all of the sounds in our names as well as in our friends' names!
We are so incredibly proud of these two! Malaki (244 hours) and Kaylee (174 hours) logged over 10,000 minutes with LPP last year and were recognized by the Norwich Rotary Club for their amazing accomplishment! A huge thank you to the LPP and Norwich Rotary!
The 2021 yearbook for seniors is being printed as we speak, with expected delivery at Thanksgiving time. We appreciate your patience as we persisted at getting to a robust final product for students and families.
This Friday is Picture Retake/Make-up Day at the Middle School!
Students who missed Picture Day in October should plan to get their picture taken. Any others who were not happy with their original picture should bring their picture packet with them to give to the photographer.
Order forms are available in the office or you can order online. Call the office with any questions! 607-334-1600 x2000

The annual YMCA Halloween Parade was great fun! Thank you to all those who came to support Gibson Primary.
Assemblyman Angelino and Assemblyman Salka visited the CARE Program. They learned about Project Based Learning and participated in a taking circle, part of our restorative practices. They answered student generated questions and offered advice about engaging in a debate.
Pictured here is Sania Branch, 5th grader. She’s our top seller in our Cherrydale fundraiser! She received a $50 Target gift card! Way to go, Sania!
