As the charitable arm of NCAE, the North Carolina Foundation for Public School Children is organizing school supplies efforts to support the school children and teachers who have been devastated by Hurricane Helene. The North Carolina Foundation for Public School Children is a charity quite like none other in how we work through the public school system to specifically help students and school personnel – and in how quickly we respond to needs – in the aftermath of disasters like what Western North Carolina is experiencing. Our goal is to equip students and teachers with the tools and services needed to return to school so learning can continue and communities will have some form of stability that our schools give. Our classes had the best time at Peila View Farm! We learned about all the farm animals and we practiced our problem solving skills in the corn maze! We had a great day!

🎉 This week, Norwich Middle School showed our commitment to staying drug and alcohol-free during Red Ribbon Week! Each day, students and staff participated in activities that reinforced the importance of making healthy, positive choices. The school spirit was incredible, and we wrapped up the week by wearing red to show our united stance against drugs and alcohol. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped spread the message that together, we choose to live healthy and safe lives! ❤️ #RedRibbonWeek #DrugFree
