On Thursday November 10, 2022 Norwich Middle School 8th Grade students participated in the annual Monument walk in East and West Side parks in Downtown Norwich. The purpose of this trip is to discuss the sacrifices made by our Veterans throughout the History of the United States. This is a way for us to say Thank You to those that have helped to protect our freedoms in both times of war and of times of peace. Upon our return to school, students wrote letters to the Veterans living at the New York State Veterans home in Oxford. The letters were dropped off on Thursday so they would be in the hands of our Veterans on Friday, Veterans Day.
