Our Gibson and Perry Browne students wrapped up our One Commumity, One Book Read called Kenny and the Dragon. Our final assembly consisted of an online quiz with questions from the game. Mrs Chrystie and Mrs. Seeley’s classes won the competition, entitling them to a copy of the sequel, Kenny and the Beasts. We are grateful to our community partners for their involvement, including the Guernsey Library, which is sponsoring a summer reading program. Any student who signs up also receives a copy of the Kenny sequel. We are looking for feedback to strengthen the One Community, One Book experience. Please complete this Google Form:

Section IV Athletics believes at the Heart of every leader must be positive character traits. As Michael Josephson states: “ Our Character is both formed and revealed by how we deal with everyday challenges as well as extraordinary pressures and temptation, like a well-made tower, character is built stone by stone, decision by decision.”

Hello Baseball Buddie parents, players, and volunteers,
Due to the weather, we will reschedule today's game until tomorrow, Tuesday, June 13th. The player warmups will begin at 3:30 pm, and our game starts at 4:00 pm. High school and Middle school players have been asked to walk, with an adult, to the Little League field behind the middle school to meet their assigned volunteer directly after school. Volunteers are asked to report to the little league field by 3:30 pm. Gibson and Perry Browne students will be fed a snack and transported by bus to the little league field at 3pm. They will have adult supervision after school, on the bus, and at the field. Parents of all players will be contacted today to verify permission of this process.
We look forward to seeing you at the Little League field tomorrow!
If you have any questions, please contact Jen Parker at Gibson 607-334-1600 ext. 4035. Be sure to leave your name and number.
