Last week the CARE program had the opportunity to go to the Lackawanna Coal Mine in P.A. Tying into the study of the industrial revolution, and will be refrenced through the year as it connects to environmental topics. Students were impressed by the 1300ft descent into earth!

In the Music Room earlier this week, 3rd grade students practiced using their singing voices with expression by playing the game "Closet Key."
Later in the week, all classes enjoyed experiencing the 18 repetitions of the theme from "In the Hall of the Mountain King" by Edward Grieg. A great time was had by all.









Last Wednesday 10/25/23, Mrs. Ryan's and Mrs. Chapman's class went down to Makerspace to practice rounding. Students used the robot Dash to round numbers to the nearest thousand, ten thousand, and hundred thousand on a number line.
