#NYSCATE21 Day 2 is in full swing. Re-engaging students through Classflow Polling and Activities @Promethean


Students in the CARE program built their skills of collaboration and communication with “Lego We Do”kits this week with Josh Hough of BT BOCES. Students explored and created robots that demonstrated motion detection, light and movement. These are representative models of different forms of communication in the animal kingdom.





Our middle school students didn’t disappoint in the musical. Matilda Jr. was amazing! We are so proud of your dedication, hard work, effort, and talent. If you missed it tonight, don’t worry, you can catch it tomorrow at 3:00! #GOPURPLE

First Grade has worked to publish a narrative writing piece. We look forward to our celebration and hope to see families virtually on Tuesday!


Today is the Capital Project Vote in the District Office next to the Middle School! Polls open at 11 AM and close at 8 PM. In addition, be sure to check out the NMS performance of Matilda Jr. at the High School Auditorium at 7 PM!


Social Studies students at Norwich Middle School used a letter writing campaign to thank the residents of the New York State Veterans Home for their service to our country.





Students from the CARE Program and the high school Environmental Club worked with members of the Healthy Gardens Club to mix soil and fill the raised beds at the middle school. They will work on building raised beds for the high school and we will have another Soil Day this spring.





The CARE Program helped a member from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chenango County prep for a taste test that will be held at the middle school this week. Thank you to the students for volunteering.
