NHS would like to SPOTLIGHT senior artist Andrew Fochtman for Youth Art Month. Andrew works primarily in sharpie using BRIGHT colors and black. His work is very graphic. If you see Andrew at NHS, make sure to compliment him on his AWESOME art.
The NHS Art Department have been celebrating Youth Art Month. Youth Art Month is an annual observance each March to emphasize the value of art education for all children and to encourage support for quality school art programs.

Today is a Purple Day
High School Technology:
Today we completed a field trip to the Raymond Corporation in Greene. Students from 9th, 10th, and 11th Grade attended.
The purpose of this trip was to provide a fun and engaging experience for students, while also providing career connections for students to consider a STEM career post-graduation.
At Raymond, we received a company presentation followed by a tour of the large and very busy manufacturing facility, which was awesome! Of particular interest, we learned that Raymond are a manufacturing company that are transitioning to also become a technology company. Unfortunately, photography was not allowed inside the facility, so attached are a couple of the lobby area and outside!
Thank you to the Raymond Corporation for hosting us so well, and to The Manufacturers Association of Central New York (MACNY) for coordinating this trip.
