High School Technology:
Students in the Design and Drawing for Production (DDP) class recently finished the Fishing Lure project.
For this project, students designed a fishing lure on paper and then in CAD, put it into a mold in Cad, and then 3D printed the mold. They then injected hot plastic into their mold, let it cool down, and set. At the end of this process, students had their own fishing lure!
Today, we went to the Chenango River behind the school to test the lures. No bites, but the lures work and will now take their place in students' tackle boxes for future fishing trips! We even managed to get the drone airborne to snap some photos of the students fishing!
Here's a quick glimpse into a couple of things Norwich students are doing in their science classes!
