Technology Teacher
Are you passionate about technology and hands-on learning? Do you have a background in design, engineering, robotics, or related fields? We're looking for an innovative Technology Teacher to join our team and lead engaging, project-based courses that equip students with valuable technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
🛠️ Develop and teach courses in Design & Drawing for Production, Woodwork, Mechatronics, Machining, Metalwork, and Robotics
⚙️ Integrate industry-aligned curriculum, preparing students for industry-recognized certifications
🤝 Collaborate with local businesses to provide students with work-based learning opportunities
💡 Incorporate technology to enhance learning outcomes and foster student success
Qualifications:
✅ Valid NY State Technology Education or CTE Certification (or willingness to obtain)
✅ Strong knowledge of design, engineering, woodworking, mechatronics, robotics
✅ Hands-on experience with shop tools, equipment, and CNC programming is a plus!
✅ Strong collaboration and student-centered mindset
