On Thursday, June 2nd, Mr. Scott Graham, Norwich High School Principal presented junior scholarships to 30 students. The funds are provided by specific colleges and Universities, which can be utilized if the student choses to attend their school. The scholarships are valued anywhere from $4,000- $120,000 over the course of four years. Students must be ranked in the top of their class and exhibit leadership skills and involvement in extra-curricular activities and community service. They excel both inside and outside of the classroom. NHS is extremely proud of these students and wish them well in their future endeavors

Today we worked on our creativity, which is our word of the month. Students got to do an activity called drawing with our words. One person had to build something and tell their partner how to draw their creation.

Next year's Junior Musical will be announced Thursday June 9th!!
Any current 6-8 students who are interested in being a part of the show should see Ms. Rehn (or any music teacher) to get on the list to attend a meeting during Bell 7 on June 9.
Students on the list will be given passes to leave Bell 7 for the meeting in the NMS Choir Room. Only students on the list (and who have a pass) will be allowed to attend the meeting. Audition packets will be available and we'll talk about the show and how to prepare for the fall.
