During the month of October, Ms. Pizzuto, School Counselor, visited each classroom in Perry Browne and read books with students about Respect. Students engaged in very interesting discussions about how they can show respect to others every single day!

Gibson School's therapists are using Clear Masks to help students!
about 3 years ago, Andrea J MacIntosh
Stanford Gibson Primary School...Home of the Little Twisters! It is important for children to have access to see-through masks so they can learn the necessary sound skills (e.g. phonological/phonemic awareness), which are required as pre-requisite skills for speaking, reading and writing. The clear masks will help teachers to show their mouths and communicate more effectively with one another. Our teachers also need an appropriate way to communicate their emotions to one another especially our youngest children, including even the smaller subset of our students who may be experiencing known or unknown hearing loss, speech and language delays or disorders and those students struggling to understand/use appropriate social emotional skills
Perry Browne Students in Ms. Alston’s Art Class have created some cool art! Check out this awesome lesson on making an imitation x-ray and the human hand. Did you know that our hands have 27 bones?

Brayden Faulks parents' arrived at the NMS Open House with a very generous gift for Ms. Welch's classroom. Included in the gift basket were reusable water bottles, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, pencils, paper and many other classroom supplies. Ms. Welch's homeroom would like to extend a heartfelt thanks for this incredibly unexpected donation! It takes a village, and we are all so happy to be part of the NMS Family!
