Mr.Ziemann’s third graders enjoyed visiting Wolf Mountain this past Wednesday! They also got a special visit from Mama Ziemann who shared one of her favorite fairytales Friday afternoon!

As part of our Purposefull People Cooperation Unit, Mrs. Chrystie's students did a fun activity called Combination Characters. Each student drew their own face and then covered it up. Their paper was passed to three additional students who drew the torso, legs, or feet. Students' peers added details that were unique to the original student's paper. Students were full of smiles as they saw the finished product!
Students from Mrs. Ryan's class and Miss Cumming's class worked in groups doing a Jigsaw activity on Henry Hudson. They got to pratice finding the main idea, finding key details, and working cooperatively.

In preparation for OCOB or one community one book, Perry Browne and Stanford Gibson have been peppering students and staff with clues all week. Yesterday's clue included this stinky fella spotted wandering the grounds at Perry Browne and Stanford Gibson!
After an enlightening afternoon at the New York City Aquarium, students in the CARE Program had a delicious lunch at Surf City Pizzeria Pasta Restaurant, walked along the boardwalk, and had a tasty treat from Coney’s Cones.
Students from the CARE Program had the opportunity to visit the New York City Aquarium as part of their Environmental Science and Zoology courses. The aquarium served to facilitate learning between the ocean and Norwich in order for us to be better caretakers of our planet.
