URGENT:
Today, at the Cincinnatus Dollar General a citizen made a terroristic threat about an alleged school shooting to a store employee that would occur today. To be clear, this was not a specific threat to any specific school or schools. Effective at 12:05 today, NCSD is currently in a lock-out, as a precautionary and safety measure. Law enforcement agencies in Chenango and Cortland Counties are apprised of the situation and in communication with area schools.
Reminder, during a lockout, there will no unauthorized exit or entry into the building. As soon as we exit our lockout, I will communicate directly to you.
Thank you for your support. - Scott
