Mrs. Chrystie and Mrs. Buchman's 5th grade class celebrated a day of perfect attendance!!
Congratulations to 8th grade student Maverick Beckwith who earned first place in the Varsity Wrestling STAC Championship over the weekend in the 102 pound weight class. We are very proud of him and his hard work!!

Today is a Purple Day!
Middle School 6th grade teachers pulled their students together on Friday with to help them focus for the second half of the school year. We want to remind all our students to work hard and do the best they can at all times. The year is almost half over, and there is still a lot to learn this year!!

UDL for Parents & Guardians: Monday, January 23, 2023 6:30-7:30 p.m. EST Parents and guardians play an essential role in a student’s support team. In this session designed with caregivers in mind, we will provide an overview of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) for parents/caregivers and offer information to empower them to be the best advocates for their children in support of inclusion, access, and equity. Tuesday, January 24th and Wednesday, January 25th are virtual days for the high school due to Regents testing. All high school students should access their Google Classrooms for assignments. Juniors will be taking the English 11 Regents exam tomorrow, January 24th. Juniors should report to the HS gym entrance by 8:15 a.m.

The Madrigal Choir performed in the Rome Free Academy Show Choir Festival last night! Students performed three pieces, and then joined seven other schools to perform a combined finale piece.

Custodians Needed! NCSD is now offering a shift differential for second shift cleaners! NCSD offers an excellent benefits package to include health, dental, and vision coverage. French students in grades 7-10 traveled to Syracuse on January 13th to attend French Night at the Syracuse Crunch. Students were able to watch an exciting hockey game and take a picture on the ice after the game with a French-speaking player.
Perry Browne's Leadership Club is running a Penny Power Program. It will begin on January 23rd and run through January 27th. They are collecting coins to help raise money for an organization that could use the help. The Leadership Club has voted on donating the money to the SPCA this year. Send in your pennies and silver and let the fun begin.
