Our 8th grade students decorated the grave sites of veterans in local cemeteries with over 300 American flags this week. This was led by our Social Studies teachers, Mr. Dowling, Mr. Stratton, and Mr. Leach who helped students make connections to the meaning of Memorial Day. We are eternally grateful for the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Norwich City School District will continue to provide school meals (breakfast and lunch) to ALL students at no cost. This is made possible through the Federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). We do ask all families to complete the Eligibility Form linked below which is an essential tool that helps us to ensure the district continues to receive its fair share of state aid revenue.

We had an amazing guest at Norwich Middle School today. Professional Football Hall of Famer and Superbowl Champion Warren Sapp came to the school for a special discussion with our students, educating us about what it takes to be successful as a professional athlete, and how to succeed in life. He was gracious enough to sign autographs and take pictures with as many students as possible afterwards.
We are very grateful for Mr. Sapp's visit to Norwich Middle School and appreciate the wisdom he shared with us.
