Students enrolled in SUNY Child Development spent last week improving the blacktop play area at Stanford Gibson. Students researched the advantages of gross motor play during recess, and chose their unique designs to paint on the blacktop.

Colgate University is offering a free SAT preparation course for students in Central New York. All high school juniors are encouraged to apply. All classes and tests are Sundays from 1-5 PM. They will be offering a practice test on January 26. Class sessions start February 2! This will help you prepare for the SAT's on May 3. Please see the attached flyer for more information. 10 Students from the 9th Grade Academy attended the College and Career Day at SUNY Morrisville, Norwich Campus. Students were able to embark on an early journey of career exploration, and college opportunities. They also networked with professionals from throughout the county.

Keep watch after sunset on November 10 to see a close encounter between Saturn and the waxing gibbous moon. At 9:58 PM, the pair will be visible above the southwestern horizon, passing within each other in the constellation Aquarius.
