About Student Support Services

The mission of Norwich City School District, is to connect, inspire and empower all students.  NCSD provides an empowering and relevant learning environment where all children will be afforded opportunities for authentic progression of designed experiences to develop and promote active learning allowing informed and inspired graduates read to contribute to their community and global society.

 

The Student Support Services Team supports this mission by providing a wide array of programming and services necessary for students to thrive in school, careers, and life. In collaboration with our students, staff, caregivers and the community, we strive to provide children with an opportunity for a superior education in a safe and positive learning environment where they are prepared with the skills to succeed. We promote safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environments by focusing on the whole child, removing barriers to learning and providing critical social, emotional, physical, and academic supports.
