Norwich Middle School

Welcome to Norwich Middle School!

Norwich Middle School is home to approximately 400 students in grades 6-8, supported daily by over 40 instructional staff and numerous support staff. Together, they form the dedicated and close-knit team that makes Norwich Middle School special.

Our school proudly offers a variety of extracurricular activities for all grades, including Art Club, National Junior Honor Society, Middle School Musical, Student Government, eSports, Jazz Band, and many more. Additionally, 7th and 8th-grade students can participate in several athletic teams. We also provide advanced classes including 6th-grade math, 7th-grade math and English, and 8th grader Regents level Algebra, Regents level Living Environment, and Advanced English 8.

Every day, we are dedicated to our shared mission: to Connect, Inspire, and Empower. Middle school is a pivotal time for our students, both socially and academically. We take our responsibility seriously in helping your child balance these aspects of their lives. We are committed to supporting our students as they explore their interests and curiosities. Our goal is for every student to leave Norwich Middle School as a better-prepared individual, proud to be a Purple Tornado.
