Welcome to NHS 9th Grade Academy!

The 9th Grade Academy is a program designed to support incoming 8th graders as they transition from middle school to high school. It offers a more personalized and structured environment to help students stay on track and develop essential academic, social, and organizational skills. The purpose of the 9th Grade Academy is to ease the adjustment to high school life, improve student engagement, and ensure academic success by providing additional resources, guidance, and opportunities for success during this pivotal year. To stay on track, students are expected to pass all classes with a 65% or better, miss fewer than 2 days of school per month, and have no behavior referrals.
